Built for Conrail in 1978 as part of class N-21, subsequently lettered from the NYC's bay window caboose classes. Transferred to CSX following Conrail's demise and used as a shoving platform in Rochester's Goodman St. Yard until 2023, when it was donated to the Village of Fairport, where it will be on permanent public display following a cosmetic restoration

New York Central wood-side 19000 (standard) series caboose 19877. Built 1921 in the NYC's Oswego Shops. Tongue and groove siding replaced with plywood sheathing most likely in the 1960s. Transferred to Penn Central following the merger, and retired in 1972. Sold into private ownership and donated to the Rochester and Genesee Valley RRM in 1987. Plywood sheathing since replaced with tongue and groove. Most recent restoration 2015, fully operational (including stove!). Will be repainted spring and summer 2023. (edited)

Lehigh Valley Northeastern Caboose #95100. Built 1941 in the Lehigh Valley shops in Sayre, PA. Rebuilt and modernized by Conrail in the late 70s. Stored in a dead line in Renovo, PA, most likely from the 80s or 90s until 2005. Ended up at a scrap dealer in 2011, and rescued from the torch by the R&GVRRM in 2012. Fully operational, interestingly has bunks in the cupola instead of seats. They're really comfy though.
